Construction of a 160 meters long bridge, designed with glulam beams in semi-continuous arches for the Crie de Mistissini Community

The Challenge
• The highly innovative geometric design of the bridge
• Real engineering challenge in how to model and build the bridge
• Due to the length of 160m, this wooden bridge has an unusual shape with non-continuous arches between supports
• Ensure the stability of the whole structure and its connectivity between arches and straight beams of the deck
