The skywalk is located on a rock at a height of 80m, 2 levels (1 above and 1 over the rock spur), the railings are created with a handrail made out of steel wire ropes.

THE CHALLENGE

· The Weser skywalk had to be constructed at a height of 80m with the use of a specific crane
· Optimization of the prefabricated part
· The main beams are created as a box girder, made of plates welded together at the workshop

THE SOLUTION

· Automatic calculation of the center of gravity for each assembly to help the erection at site
· Exact clarification of details with the construction company using the 3D – modeling
· Tools to easily create plates of shape including weld preparation
